Terms of Service

These terms apply to Mark, an AI employee provided by AI or Bye, and to this website. Using the site or bringing Mark on means you accept them.

The short version. Mark is AI, and he says so. He works a 14-day interview at no wage. If you keep him, it is $997 a month for three months, then $3,000 a month. We do not promise you a specific amount of revenue, and nobody should.

What Mark is

Mark is an artificial-intelligence service that handles front-office work for home-service businesses: answering calls, booking work, sending reminders, following up, and reporting back to the owner. Mark is not a person and is not presented as one. He discloses that he is AI.

Mark supports your team. He is not a replacement for professional judgement, and decisions about your business remain yours.

The working interview and what it costs

A payment method is required to start the working interview. You are not charged during the 14 days. The move from the interview into a paid month does not happen silently: the full billing, cancellation, recording and usage terms are shown to you, and you accept them, before the working interview is activated.

If your usage grows beyond the included minutes or messages, we will show you the additional cost before anything changes. There is no hidden meter.

What we do not promise

We do not guarantee any amount of revenue, savings, bookings or reviews.
We do not claim Mark never makes a mistake. He is software, and software errs.
We do not claim every single call is answered or every lead captured.
Estimates shown on our website, including the cost calculator, are illustrative. Your results will differ.

Mark is not an emergency service. If a caller reports a gas leak, a carbon-monoxide alarm, fire, or any immediate danger to life, Mark's job is to recognise it, point them to emergency services, and escalate to a human. He does not give safety or repair instructions. Never rely on Mark in a life-safety situation.

Calls, recording and consent

Requesting an interview through this website is your consent to receive an automated call at the number you give us. Calls with Mark are recorded and transcribed. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

When Mark works for your business and speaks with your customers, you are responsible for making sure that use fits the rules that apply to your business and your state, including any consent or recording requirements. We will help you configure Mark to meet them.

Using Mark properly

You agree not to use Mark to mislead people, to contact anyone who has asked not to be contacted, to break telemarketing or messaging rules, or for anything unlawful. You are responsible for the contact lists and business rules you give him.

Your information and your customers'

Information you connect stays yours. We use it to operate Mark for you and for nothing else. If you leave, we will return or delete your information on request.

Availability

Mark depends on third-party phone, messaging and AI providers. We work to keep him running but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for interruptions caused by those providers or by circumstances outside our control.

Ending it

You can end the working interview at any time during the 14 days and owe nothing. The full cancellation terms for paid months are presented to you before the working interview is activated, and those terms are what govern.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change materially affects what you are paying or what you receive, we will tell you directly rather than expecting you to find it here.
