This policy explains what information AI or Bye collects in connection with Mark, an AI employee that works for home-service businesses, and what we do with it. It is written in plain language on purpose.

Why we use it
- To contact you about hiring Mark, and to reply when you write back.
- To place the interview call you requested, and to follow up afterwards.
- To personalise what Mark says so he is useful rather than generic.
- To keep our own records of who we spoke to and what was discussed.
- To improve how Mark works.
Automated calls, AI, and recording
Mark is artificial intelligence. He is not a person, and he tells you so on every call. He will never claim to be human.
When you request an interview through this site, you are asking us to place an automated phone call to the number you provide. Calls with Mark are recorded and transcribed so we have a record of what was said and can improve his work. If you do not want to be recorded, do not request a call, or tell Mark on the call and we will end it.
Recording and consent requirements differ by state. If you have a specific requirement for your jurisdiction, tell us and we will honour it.
Who else handles your information
We use a small number of established service providers to run Mark. They process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep business contact details and call records for as long as we are working with you, or might reasonably do business with you. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so except where we are required to keep it.
Your choices
- Stop the emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or simply reply "stop".
- Stop the calls. Tell Mark on the call, or email us. We will not call again.
- See or delete your information. Email us and we will send you what we hold, or remove it.
You never have to explain why. One message is enough.
Security
Information is held in the systems listed above under access controls. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we limit who can reach your information and why.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
